The Poetavango Award for Short Fiction
A literary contest for Batswana writers and citizens of Botswana. It promotes local writers, supports Botswana literature and encourages the culture of reading. The award focuses on short fiction, with the ambition to grow into other forms such as novels, non-fiction, poetry and scriptwriting. Writing from place
